http://video.discoverychannel.co.uk/services/link/bcpid1396519123/bclid1456354857/bctid1465410419

What do I learn?

I learn a lot of things like:
  • find a job on line which I can say that wasn't easy for me because the only things that I know about personal computers is how to log in on msn and find things ok Google :S
  • I learn to do cover letters and Job resumes. that is something that I know I'll use farther
  • I made a lot of frineds

I have to say that English 7 wasn't easy for me this one was very complicated for me but also teach me that no matter how difficult is something I don’t have to give up; I never figured that I would become a 20 student and even less that I would have so much fun

In few words it was a beautiful experience that left me great memories of my teacher that is a fun fun person welling to help every one, and of course my friends... I know that I can always count on my friends

Final Job!

FIRE PREVENTION (sorry it is wrong on the video) is really important because it would safe the life of workers. This is made in order to know what should or shouldn't be donde in emergency situations not only on fire cases. every one should know where to go in order to safe their lives. first we have to know where are the emergencies ways and the signs. This prevention plans help us to identify what kind of fire we're witnessing. Second If it is a controllable fire we can use the Extinguisher to control it or try to extinguish it; but in the opposite case you shouldn't try to confront it just go away from fire, safe your live and then when you are in a safety place communicate whit the relevant authorities and let them do their job. Thirt Every time you find a closed door measured it’s temperature with the back of your hands, if the door is too hot don’t open it, behind it may be more fire. And finally, you need to have attitude, aptitude and objectivity when you find yourself living this situation in this way you can take correct decisions and save your life.

Job interviwe types and tips!

Interviewers come in many styles, shapes, and sizes. They may be trained professionals or rank beginners. They may be pleasant and encouraging or rude and opinionated.

Likewise, there are several kinds of interviews, depending on the personality and preferences of the interviewer and the instructions from the employer. Generally, in on-campus and consortia interviews students will be involved initially with a screening interview, one from which the interviewer makes a recommendation about whether to consider a candidate further. The screening interview is usually (but not always) conducted by a friendly, encouraging individual who has been trained to follow a fairly structured line of questioning.
Telephone

Be ready for a telephone interview from the moment you apply for a position. Many times a company will ask you questions the first time they contact you to begin assessing your qualifications. Keep a list with you of the positions you have applied for, the company it is with, the job description and any other pertinent information. The fact that they cannot see you is a challenge but also a benefit, use your notes.

Group

Some employers will interview several candidates at the same time or you might find yourself in a social setting with the other candidates during the interview process. Keep in mind that the employer is always evaluating you. You want to be seen as a team player.

Panel

A panel is the reverse of the group interview. There are several people from the employer. You might be interviewed by 2-10 people at the same time. Be sure to make eye contact with each person. When a question is asked you want to direct 50% of your eye contact to the person that asked the question and the other 50% to the other members of the panel. Try to get everyone’s contact information so that you can write each of them a thank you letter.

One-On-One

This is the traditional format for interviews. Make good eye contact and try to match their “style”. If they are very conservative and don’t smile it would not be a good idea to try humor in the interview.

On-Campus
The main challenge is that you usually only have 30 minutes with the recruiter. So be sure to use all the time to your advantage. If there are company representatives in the waiting area, take advantage of the extra “face time” by speaking with them. Remember, they are always evaluating you.

On-Site

When you get an interview that is at the employer’s place of business you need to stay on your toes. You want to be nice to everyone from the receptionist to people you pass by in the parking lot. You never know what their position is at the company. Plan your route to the location and make sure you allow for traffic. You do not want to be late to an interview! Arrive about 15 minutes early but you want to be near the employer about 1 hr before your interview so you can make sure you have everything together. Take the last 45 minutes to get some water or a bite to eat if you are hungry.

What is Benchmarking?

"Benchmarking is the practice of comparing a company's performance against others. It can be used to help clarify where you stand, relative to others, in those practices which matter most in your area of business. The technique can also be used to help companies become as good, or better than the best in the world in the most important aspects of their operations.

Benchmarking is the process of determining who is the very best, who sets the standard, and what that standard is. In baseball, you could argue that seven consecutive World Series Championships made the New York Yankees the benchmark. If we were to benchmark "world conquest", what objetive measure would we use to compare Julius Caesar to Adolph Hitler; Gengis Khan to Napoleon? Which of them was the epitome, and why?

" Benchmarking is about finding who is the best sales organization? The most responsive customer service department? The leanest manufacturing operation? And how do we quantify that standard?and try to copy or improve their technics wich ones will be apply on the industries in orden to get a bigger portion of the market

Selected words:
-Epitome
-Clarify
-Apply
